EXCELLENT Based on 281 reviews Posted on Google Richard FollettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It's an owner's caravan and lodge site. For the last 6 month's it's been pretty noisy on site whilst upgrades to the caravan site and roadways are carried out.Posted on Google Stephen LangtonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Won’t process refunds. We had a group booking to stay in tents next year (2026). The company decided not to do tent spaces next year but won’t give a refund citing that “refunds are being processed by head office” and won’t hand out the head office phone number. 5 families and 10+ young kids would like to book somewhere else next year. Hand out the money you owe!!!Posted on Google Wally PitmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Showers are basically ready for a good clean . The lake is a small pond . There is a very small club house with very little entertainment. The bab van outside is ok .the site is not very clean .it looks like they are slowly getting ready to put moor lodges on site . There is no shop it closed down .and the staff seem to be not very happy at There job .and the kids parks are very dated .the swimming pool is very small and the owner get special times and caravan and tents are not allowed in .and the beach is OK for a walking only as stones and bushes will we come back not a chance .Posted on Google Bethany MannTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently stayed for two nights camping with friends, the site layout is fantastic with fairly large pitches and the loop around the play park is ideal, we were right Infront of the park which was perfect for our small children as they played in there most of the day. Toilets located at each end of the site which is ideal, both with showers so never a long walk no matter what pitch you're on. These were however a little grubby and run down but still usable they just are in need of a deep clean. Water taps on each pitch is a bonus. The swimming pool was bookable in two hour slots which was brilliant and on a sunny day being able to sit on a lounger while the kids swim was lovely. Access to the beach is a bit steep and a bit of a trek across the grass area, with small children and being pregnant we gave this a miss but would take the trek down for a paddle next time. Staff seemed helpful and friendly. We didn't use the bar as even though the sign by the facilities said 'bar open' it didn't seem to be and we received a sheet for bingo info but this was for the weekend and we stayed mid week, this was a shame especially during the holidays it would've been nice to see things going on week days but as we came with friends we weren't fussed. Overall we were impressed and would return, a little worried by most recent reviews but glad most of these didn't seem to be true. Great campsite especially for small children!Posted on Google Robert FlemingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Superb park, just been taken over by new owners who look to be making major investment and improvements to the sitePosted on Google Nick SharpTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely site, well kept, clean & tidy. Toilet blocks serve there purpose but could do with a freshen up, this wouldn't stop us returning in the future which we intend to do.Posted on Google James GarrettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our family recently enjoyed a memorable camping experience at the park, marking our third visit. The new ownership has demonstrably enhanced the park's offerings. Over the course of four days, we had successful fishing outings. The staff's assistance was exceptional, and the clubhouse entertainment was highly enjoyable. We consider this location the premier destination in Norfolk and Suffolk and eagerly anticipate our next visit. The Garretts
